During the first half of 2026, dermatology transactions on the platform rose 411% year-on-year, while the average payment per person for dermatology treatments surged by 140%. American tourists made up 55% of health examination bookings and 43% of traditional oriental medicine clinic visits, while Taiwanese travelers dominated dermatology and ophthalmology bookings. Geographically, the market is expanding beyond Seoul. Busan saw a 301% transaction increase, with local dermatology reservations accounting for 64% of that city's total transaction value. For Western clinicians, this data underscores a growing consumer expectation for holistic "care recovery" protocols. Patients traveling for procedures increasingly expect integrated post-treatment plans that pair clinical interventions with specialized skin recovery, professional hair care, and medical-grade wellness treatments.
